The main idea in verse 1 is our lives and to be wise.

Sometimes in our lives”

We agree because what I think of this verse is that in our lives we struggle and go through hard and tough times but if we think positively we will know that we have tomorrow to look forward to.

We may not have everything we want, but we have what we need.
The main idea in the chorus is that it’s ok to ask for help.
“You just call on me brother, when you need a helpin hand”
“We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you'd understand
We all need somebody to lean on”
We agree with the lyrics of the chorus because it should be ok to ask for help, or help those in need.
Verse 2
The main idea in verse 2 is Share.

We agree with verse 2.
We are here to help, just ask.

The main idea in verse 3 is Caring and helping.

Rap Poem

Touch is my game people thinks it’s lame but when we start the playing their going to feel ashamed and when I do a step a little with the fizzle after this game I’m going to have a sausage sizzle. When I run fast I think of the past when I ever race I never come last but the important thing is never eat a rat you gotta eat healthy or you're going to be fat. T.P.S Year 8 Camp

What I am looking forward to for the year eight's camp is having fun with all of friends before we all go off to college next year so I want to try make memory's with all of them in our last year in intermediate.
I feel excited that we are going because of all of the fun activities that we are going to do and all of the team building. I look forward to going camp with friends Misimoa and Tim because I get to have fun with them for one week and we get to fun activities with each other so we can have memory's when we are all separated next year.

Holiday Description

A long day at the movies.

My heart started beating rapidly as I got out of the car making me feel overwhelmed.I felt nervous as I was just walking towards the entry thinking a lot of people might be inside. As I glided through the door taking my two next steps straight away I could detect the smell of the buttery popcorn popping around in the popcorn machine. It was like there was an invisible wall as you walk through the door where on one side you can smell all different kind of foods and the other you only can smell fresh air it felt like a whole different world inside.

As I was walking towards to get our tickets I saw a extended line. It was like everyone was lining up to buy tickets to go see Beyonce concert. I strolled towards back of the line thinking I might be here all night just to get my ticket. As I was waiting in line I looked to the side and my eyes caught a view at the arcade area. I couldn't stop staring it, it looked so cool I just wanted to go play for a few minutes but I couldn't or else I would lose my place in line. When I finished waiting in line for one hour I finally got my ticket and the movie was about to start so I dashed past everyone hoping I would make in time.

I gave my ticket to one of the workers and entered theater 2. I finally made it I feeling exhausted. I tried to look for my seat I was in the k row on seat 11. I sat down and felt alive the seat was so comfortable that I could take a nap on it. The movie started I was so joyful that I made it but right then the negative thing was I fell asleep.

The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas - Personal Reflection

This is my personal reflection that I have reflected on about the novel The boy in the striped pyjamas.

Authors Purpose

The  why I think the author wrote this novel is because he was trying to explain what it was like for people back in the olden days like world war 2. He tried to explain how it was like in the concentration camps for people who were Jew and how they were treated with no respect with guards punishing them if they did something wrong.

Main character’s actions.

Bruno was a 9 year-old boy who like to discover mysteries. He had met a boy in the concentration camps with no one knowing in his family. He wanted to see what it was like but he had no idea that the camp was for people that get torched to work. When he had found a way in his actions led him to bad things.

My Opinion about the novel.

I think that this novel is very sad because how people get torched in camps and
also how death happens around any corner at any time. Also because people in the camp go to bed without any dinner and how people suicide them self so that they could be free.

  • What have you learnt from the main character’s actions?
             I have learnt to never got to places by myself and always stay close to my   family so I won’t get hurt anywhere.
  • why did the author write this novel?
So people knew how hard it was for people back in the olden day’s in the concentration camps.
  • what messages have you learnt from this novel?
If you are going anywhere by yourself always let someone know any family so that they where you are.
  • What is your opinion about this novel?
I think that this novel is interesting and also sad.

The time has finally come to show the world what I have. Standing in the middle of the field in front of camera’s and thousands of fans is making me nervous. All I feel is fear crawling down the back of my spine making me terrified whether I will lose or win for my country.  As I was rubbing my hands together with the chalk I took a quick view around the whole stadium. I could hear all my fans cheering go Tupou go. I can smell people eating hot-dogs from the hot-dog stand near the entrance, then I finally look back down.

I dragged my feet across the ground walking towards the throwing path. I scooped up the shot into my palm and held it tightly. I got everyones attention they all went quiet.
I stood back and threw the shot with all of my strength. I closed my eyes for a second and thought I had lost. Right then I could hear people cheering so open my eyes and had realised I had won.

My Maths Group Goals For Term 2

After sitting our e-asTTle test this week we analysed our group pathways which helped us identify our group maths goals for this term.Here are my group maths goals:

  • WALT explain the meaning of digits in numbers up to 3 decimal places.

My Best Friend Poem

My Best friend

When I feel down and betrayed,
my friend will be there every single day.
When I feel lost and alone,
my friend will be there in every way.

When I feel lonely or can’t play with the among,
my friend will be there to say “come and have fun!”.
When I am not strong or feel wrong,
my friend will be there with a feel-better-song.

He is a like a soft kind bunny that,
can also be sometimes funny.
He is  brave like a knight who always gets ready
for his fight.
He has been there from the beginning to end
and that is why he is my friend.

Even though we fight, sometimes it affects us,
But I do not care because,
for me that’s not the case,
because we are two things that can not
be erased.

My Autobiography

This week I presented my autobiography in front of my class. There are some personal information
I have deleted because I'm being cyber smart.

In my presentation I have shared interesting information about my life, inspirations
and future aspirations.

Who am I?
My name is Tupou , I am twelve years old and also a year eight. I was born in the country New Zealand in the city Auckland. I was not named after anybody in my family. My favourite thing I like to do is do some family bonding with my family. What I hate the most is when there is family violence in the house because that’s how it breaks the family apart.

My Timeline

When I was 1 years old I had learned to walk and talk but not that much.
At the age of two I was much more talkative and I could understand more about what my mum was saying also I liked playing with balls.
3 years later when I had turned 3 I enjoyed having a fun time at the park with my dad and that was also the day I had learnt to swim.
When I was four I learned how to ride a bicycle and loved riding it around the park.
Halfway through my life is when I started school at wesley primary all the way in Mt Roskill and when I returned I had a wonderful
Having my sixth year in New Zealand I moved  In with my nana and had entered another school called Tamaki Primary.
When I had my seventh birthday that was the year when I believed in myself to become a confident swimmer.
At the age of 8 I learnt how to play athletic sports like touch,rugby and soccer.
At nine years old I had a huge passion for drawing because I liked how artist create characters in cartoons and some times I liked spending time by myself. It was also the day I became a confident swimmer.
When I was 10 years old I got very interested in the subject maths at school because I liked learning big numbers and I enjoyed learning new strategies.
11 years of my life had finally came that was the year I liked listening to music because sometimes when I am down it always cheers me up. I joined a soccer team too in Otahuhu.

I quit the soccer team in Otahuhu and joined a league team all the way in pakuranga and loved it alot.
Another life to come and a new discovery.

Steps on how I will achieve my future aspirations

Complete my eighth year in intermediate.
I have my first year in college. The subjects I will have to take to become a freerunner is P.E,Maths and English.
I keep on studying hard till 2018 so I can become what I want to accomplished in the future.


I finish my last year in college.
I want to be self-employed instead of going to university to become a freerunner.
